A game of speed, skill and spirit ... and a 33-19 scoreline
Our Senior 1st VII netballers took to the court in the annual charity showdown against KES and showcased their strength, skill and sisterhood by claiming the trophy with a commanding 33-19 scoreline. Â With sharp shooting, seamless teamwork and bravery, our GDST 'girls-first' ethos shone through in their victory.
The warm-up match saw the Prep girls play with real grit and but the KES team took the win 7-4 in a hard fought match.
This annual fixture is a demonstration of how sport at Royal High starts with the youngest of students and gives every girl the opportunity to build confidence and skill throughout their school journey - the senior netballers were the perfect illustration of this approach to sporting success.
