Head Girl Hustings Inspire the Senior School Community
This morning's assembly at Royal High was an inspiring showcase of leadership, passion, and ambition as seven brilliant Year 12 students stepped forward to present their case for becoming the next Head Girl.Â

Year 7 Sleepover: A Night to Remember
The much-anticipated Year 7 Sleepover took place on Friday night in the Sports Hall, and it was a fantastic success. With an impressive turnout of nearly the whole year group, the event was filled with fun, laughter, and plenty of memorable moments.
Classical Symposium: Royal High's Unique Classical Variety Show
On Wednesday evening, almost seventy students presented an impressive Classical variety show while volunteer student ‘slaves’ offered classically inspired refreshments to a full audience. With eighteen different performances, all prepared by students in their own time, there was something for everyone. Each year group was represented and the eclectic, joyous and often witty performances were not only delivered in English, but there were also short plays in Latin and Greek (with subtitles and pictures projected for those less fluent). The evening was great fun, and it was obvious to see the vital skills our brave students had developed – oracy, organisation, independence, teamwork, curiosity and a real love of the ancient world and all it offers for everyone.Â

Staff Sports Day: Chaos, Laughter, and Some Questionable Athleticism for Comic Relief
This afternoon the Senior School community witnessed a sporting spectacle like no other, as teachers traded textbooks for trainers in a hilarious Staff Sports Day, all in aid of Comic Relief. Organised by our brilliant Year 13 Charity Prefects, Jess and Ashleigh with the help of Amelie, the event saw around 20 teachers stepping up to represent their houses in an afternoon of friendly(ish) competition.

Young Musicians Shine at Royal High’s Annual Competition
On Monday, 17 March, the Music School was alive with talent as the Royal High’s annual Young Musician of the Year competition took center stage. With over 90 musicians performing throughout the day, each showcasing dedication and artistry.

The Elements: A Dazzling Display of Dance and Creativity
This year’s annual dance show, The Elements, is a spectacular celebration of movement and creativity. Featuring over 60 dancers from the Senior School and 33 from the Prep School, the production brought the theme of the four elements, earth, water, fire, and air, to life through a diverse range of dance styles. Rehearsals for the show began back in October, with students dedicating their lunchtimes and GCSE Dance lessons to perfecting their performances. Their hard work and commitment culminated in a showcase of both individual expression and collaborative choreography.

In an incredible achievement that highlights both talent and dedication, Year 11 Royal High student Liv has been awarded the highly esteemed Arkwright Engineering Scholarship. The Arkwright Scholarship is the UK’s most prestigious scholarship of its kind, designed to inspire and support the next generation of world-changing engineers.
