Bath & District United Nations Association Sixth Form Peace Conference
Sixth Form
This year some of our Sixth Form students attended the Bath & District United Nations Association Sixth Form Peace Conference on Wednesday 16 November 2022.
The joint leaders were Isabel Cartwright and Ellis Brooks, Quaker Peace Education staff members. Following last year's very successful conference on What Makes Us Feel Insecure, the subject of this year's conference aimed to build on the outcomes of last year's, and the title was Making The Difference: How You Can Have an Influence.
Students from across Bath were encouraged to ask questions and give their input on the topic.
The United Nations Association-UK (UNA-UK) is the leading source of independent information and analysis on UN issues in the UK and a country-wide grassroots movement in support of the objectives of the UN Charter. It supports a Sixth Form Peace Conference in Bath each autumn.
