Boarding at RHS
Royal High voices, Sixth Form, Senior School
The last weekend before a well-deserved half-term was a very enjoyable one all round. The boarders had a much-needed relaxing Saturday followed by crafts, cake, sports and an evening performance from the Year 8s.
Crafts - Cherleen, Year 6
This weekend I finished my quilting with Miss N-J and my roommates. The quilting was fun but tricky to do. It took me a very long time to complete this around 3-4 hours but I enjoyed it. I hope we can do more quilting after half term.
Badminton - Ilia, Year 10
On Sunday afternoon the Year 10s had a badminton tournament. This was a great chance for us to relax from schoolwork. We all had a lot of fun but the best thing was to build relationships with each other as we played doubles.
Year 8 Performance - Miya, Year 8
Sunday evening the Year 8s performed a ‘Play in the Day’. We started rehearsing the play at 4.30pm and it was based on a story Jasmine wrote for English. It was called Redrum and we performed it at 7pm in front of the Year 7s, Year 9s, Year 10s and some of the Year 11s. Doing this was really fun and would really like to do it again!
Cake and Hot Chocolate - Tiffany, Year 7
This weekend Miss Standerline took the Year 7s into a very nice café in town for a treat. Mrs Custodio and Ms Leipold decided to give the Year 7s a treat of cake and hot chocolate as we have been really good since the start of term. The cakes were really nice, thank you to Miss Standerline for taking us.
