Weekend Fun in Boarding

Boarding enjoyed a jam packed programme of activities last weekend which included:

On Saturday Y7-9 went to the Aqua Glass studio to blow glass baubles. They selected their favourite colours and whether they wanted spots, swirls, or a bit of both. The glassblower quizzed them on their glassblowing knowledge during the session. They will be cooled and packaged up for us to collect later on.

Y10-11 visited Bath Pizza Co. and enjoyed their delicious pizzas.

On Sunday Y7 played badminton in the school sports hall. Y8 visited the cinema to watch the new 'Paddington' film.

Y9 went to Bristol to go bowling at Hollywood Bowl  (with a high score of 104)  and afterwards enjoyed pizzas and sides at Pizza Hut. Y10 cooked their own supper of choice. They chose chicken curry and the spices smelt wonderful.
