South West Schools Bouldering Competition - Round 1

Competitors are only allowed one attempt at each problem (unless elected to do a power round which includes multiple timed ascents). Points are awarded for:

1. Starting the problem
2. Reaching the first bonus hold
3. Reaching the second bonus hold
4. Getting to the top (and holding with both hands for three seconds).

With four rounds, each competitor has their best three rounds counted for the competition, with prizes for the overall winner in each category and the best team of three climbers.

RHSB climbers did really well, with four students returning from last year's competition with more experience and lots of Year 7 students competing for the first time.
