England Hockey U16 Squad, selectors pick Ruby

Huge congratulations to Ruby Butterfield, Year 10, who has been selected for the England Hockey U16 Squad.
Being a year younger than those usually selected for the squad this is a fantastic achievement for Ruby, and a testament to all of her hard work and dedication.
Ruby was selected for the U16 long squad in October 2021 which meant she had to have further assessment before being told whether she had been selected for the official U16 squad.
Over the coming months Ruby will have the opportunity to train with other girls who have been selected for the squad and participate in international matches.
