Fantastic funds raised at Curry and Quiz Night

After a break of over two years, it was a pleasure to resurrect the Curry and Quiz night last month. The enthusiasm to take part was evident, as the event was a sell out within about forty-eight hours. Given our objective was to raise money for our fabulous Performing Arts department and their purchase of radio mics; the evening promised to be both fun and purposeful.
On the night, the Rebecca Barrel room was absolutely buzzing with parents from both the Prep and the Senior school. Our accomplished catering team supplied both beautiful decorations and delicious food to set the mood. Meanwhile wonderful bar staff (thank you Ms Lilley, Mr Orr and Mr Steele) kept the drinks flowing. After which, the quiz began, skillfully compered by Mr Pillow. Even more skillful was the scoring, kept by Claire Mason and Tory Charlton from our Admissions team!
I think though we can all agree that scores aside, that the best result of the night was that we raised approx. £1k for a worthy cause, all while having fun with friends both old and new. We are looking forward to the next event already.
