February boarding activities
Boarding
The month our boarders have enjoyed a range of activities over their weekends.
This has included the last round of the School House Smoothie Competition, in which our Year 7s and 8s created and named two delicious smoothies judged by the House staff. The winners will be announced in the first House meeting after half term and all our recipes will be made into a book for the boarders.
Years 10 and 11 visited Oxford and enjoyed a tour of Christ Church College – one of the sites used as a set for Harry Potter.
The highlight of the month was a Ceilidh on Sunday complete with a live band and caller. Initial trepidation about what a Ceilidh was turned into giggles and whooping as the boarders swung each other around the Sophie Cameron!
