A Very Royal Visit

We had a very special visitor at Prep this week from His Royal Highness King Henry VIII who visited children in Year 4.

This term Year 4s are learning all about the Tudors, and have so far looked at the family tree from King Henry VII to Elizabeth I.

During the royal visit the children learnt that young Henry enjoyed sports, art and playing in the castle and was very fit. Unfortunately, when he stepped inside the class time machine and went forward into his later life they saw that his physique had change quite a lot due to the fact he ate a large amount of meat and did not exercise due to a jousting injury.
