Success for RHSB girls at Mid-Somerset Festival

Despite the surprise snow fall across Bath scuppering travel plans for many, there were still some RHSB girls who managed to take part in Mid-Somerset Festival this year, and with great success.
Successes included Ellie in year 11 who won the Public Speaking Solo Yr 10-13 category and Siena in year 7 who took part in 4 drama and music classes, with two 3rd places, one 2nd place and one 1st place.
All our performers who took part received marks in the mid-80’s, receiving impressive Commended grades. Congratulations to all!
Emily came first in the under 15 Vocal Duet/Trio competition, performing Rutter’s Angels Carol.
We are looking forward to the LAMDA Showcase on Tuesday 28 March, an opportunity to watch all the girls who had originally hoped to attend Mid-Somerset. Tickets for the showcase are available here.
