October fun in boarding
Boarding
Our boarders have had a fantastic and busy first half of the term. Both School House and Gloucester House enjoyed plenty of weekend activities, which saw the girls taking part in activities ranging from playing crazy golf around the school grounds to candle making in Bath and chocolate making in Bristol.
During International Week some of our students celebrated their culture in their countries’ colours or national dress, and it was a privilege for our boarding staff to share their excitement and witness their pride as they prepared for our International Gala.
On International Boarding Day our boarders had the task to plan, budget for and cook a meal as a group. Whilst they found this challenging at first, they did a great job and took real satisfaction in sitting down together for a meal that they had planned and prepped.
Nearing end of term our Year 10 boarders got competitive when they went karting and raced to get a spot on the podium.
