Royal High School girls to sing live to the nation on Christmas Day
Senior School, Charity, Student Success, Global Citizens
While many children will be opening presents from Father Christmas, seven of our pupils will be representing the Royal High Junior School on BBC One to sing live in front of millions of people around the world. The girls are taking part in this year's Eucharist in Bath Abbey – the first time the annual service has been hosted there. It will be televised live at 10am on Christmas Day morning to a global audience in over 50 countries.
Performing as part of the Abbey Girls’ Choir are six Senior School pupils: Amelia Poole, Alexandra Rutherford, Lily-Ann Nicolson (all Year 11); and Chloe Foster, Jessica Baldrian and Serena Purslow (all Year 13).
Representing the Royal High Junior School is Bea Seviour, a Year 4 pupil, who is a member of the Abbey’s Melody Makers Children’s Choir.
