Classical Association Competition
A massive well done to Maddie Whitmore who claimed the second prize in the Senior Category of the Classical Association’s Creative Writing competition. Maddie’s story was chosen from more than 450 entries inspired by the CA's Honorary President for 2021-22 Stephen Fry’s books ‘Mythos’, ‘Heroes’ and ‘Troy’.

Student awarded prestigious writing prize
Many congratulations to Maddie Whitmore in the Sixth Form who was unanimously chosen by judges as the winner of the David Selwyn Prize, a prestigious short story competition for schools in Bath and Bristol. Every year, the prize is awarded in association with the Jane Austen Society for essays related to the works of Jane Austen.
