Penguins save the day!
Nursery and Prep School
Oscar winning performances from all our stars!
‘Penguins Save The Day’ was this year's winter performance from Royal High Prep School girls in Reception, Years 1 and 2. Directed by Mrs Millard, and with choreography by Mrs Bazley, the plot saw young Goggles the penguin become upset at being left behind by his brothers and sisters as went off fishing. Whilst they were away Goggles had some unwanted visitors and his adventures began in earnest!
With a cast of stars including a snow fox, polar bears, a band of robbers, shoals of fish, icicles and PC Blubber, a limerick-speaking detective, it was a truly spectacular performance worthy of a clutch of Oscars.
The girls sang, danced and acted their parts with gusto, It was lovely to be together again at The Egg for this production which spread so much joy and laughter after months of challenge. The cast looked fabulous in their costumes which were designed and made by the amazing Carole and Penny.
Thank you to all at The Egg Theatre for making us so welcome – we had a fantastic day and we were so proud of the girls.
