“ Our fearless trio showed amazing confidence - truly exemplifying our 'Fearlessness for life' motto - compèring this sellout event with ease and engaging the live audience of over 800 people. They even managed to raise a laugh from the crowd!”
Three of our Prep School pupils had the honour of meeting author and illustrator, Rob Biddulph, and introducing him to a packed house at The Forum on Saturday 1 October at one of the highlights of the Bath Children's Literature Festival.
As massive fans, Penny, Lily and Rosie (Years 3 and 4) were thrilled to meet Rob before the event - with one of the girls even dressing up as Peanut Jones, the heroine of Rob's new book Peanut Jones and the Twelve Portals, the second title in his middle-grade adventure series fizzing with magic, danger, friendship and art.
Our fearless trio showed amazing confidence - truly exemplifying our 'Fearlessness for life' motto - compèring this sellout event with ease and engaging the live audience of over 800 people. They even managed to raise a laugh from the crowd!
It was also lovely to see them get such great support and encouragement from the fellow Royal High Prep pupils sat in the audience.
“ As the Bath Children's Literature Festival draws to a close for another year, we wanted to say a massive thank you and congratulations to the organisers for a wonderful ten days.”
We had so much fun at Rob's biggest live in-person draw-along ever. Just one of the brilliant things we learned was that Bath is the monster capital of the world!
As the Bath Children's Literature Festival draws to a close for another year, we wanted to say a massive thank you and congratulations to the organisers for a wonderful ten days. We are also grateful to every author, poet and illustrator who took part in the Festival and for filling every event with laughter, inspiration and creativity. We are very proud to be sponsors and to have been able to play a part in sharing so much fun, enjoyment and a pure passion for literature with so many local children, young people and their families.
