Prep School celebrates Women in Engineering Day
Prep
The Prep school celebrated Women in Engineering Day with all pupils carrying out different STEM activities throughout the day.
In the morning we had a whole school assembly where they girls heard from some women in engineering followed by an afternoon of activities.
In Reception class, Years 1 and 2, we enjoyed the 'Egg Drop Relief Challenge',' Bridge Challenge' and 'Beebot Maze Challenge'. Our older pupils took part in Stop-Go animation, Lego bridge building and testing, balloon powered car building and constructing domes out of paper.
During break times there was a quiz and a range of fun STEM activities. The girls really enjoyed challenging themselves and with many now wanting to be engineers!
