Reception Are Out of This World!

The Reception girls have made an excellent start to their Guided Home Learning -  it has been ‘out of this world’. Learning about space through stories, the girls have created rockets, astronaut outfits, moon rocks, planets and aliens. They have been writing about what they would take into space with them, working out how many underpants the aliens have stolen from the washing line and they even listened to a story read by a real astronaut (Tim Peake). They have loved their lessons with the specialist teachers and in their outdoor learning, they have been exploring winter, making beautiful frozen decorations to hang on the trees. The cheese planets looked delicious and I am sure many girls will be cooking them again for their families. It is great to see the five ‘Rs’ in action – well done Reception!
