Reception visit Bath City Farm

Last Thursday Reception class went to Bath City Farm. They were so excited to go on this trip – we even had to do a countdown of days long before we got there!
We saw some familiar farm animals along with some very woolly looking pigs that were enormous. The girls were very concerned about a lovely little lamb that had broken its leg but were reassured that it was going to be fine.
We got to feed the chickens as well as touch them; many squeals of delight were heard when the goats took food from the girls hands! We ended our trip with a little snack and a play in the park. Doug drove us back to school in the minibus just in time for lunch.
