Sixth Form enjoy inspirational career talk

Our Sixth Form students enjoyed listening to an inspirational talk by Reverend Catherine Bond as part of our series to mark Careers Week.
Catherine is a GDST alumna and attended Oxford High. She shared her career journey and explained how her degree in History led her to corporate law. Early in her career she then started a successful business which helped law firms to prepare witnesses. She explained the highs and lows of entrepreneurship and how she juggled her personal life in an industry known for long hours. Her career journey didn't stop when she sold her business to 'retire,' as she then trained to be vicar.
The girls loved Catherine's story and her honesty, reflected in their applause and whoops of appreciation!
