Amazing success for Katherine in Year 7 with the Bronze Omnium at Cheddar Gorge

Congratulations to Katherine in Year 7 who was placed First Woman Overall in the Bronze Omnium at Cheddar Gorge on Sunday. She had to complete four events: a 7km trail run, followed by a 100m sprint, followed by a 1km trail run, then a steep 50m hill climb. 

The Cheddar Omnium is part of the Cheddar Gorge Challenge event which includes stand alone races from 1km up to marathon. 
All Omnium races include a 100m sprint, a 1km, a Hill Climb and an Endurance Run (from 6km, 10km or Half Marathon). The length of your Endurance Run determines your Omnium type; 6km = Bronze, 10km = Silver, Half Marathon = Gold.
