The UK Chemistry Olympiad is an annual competition run by the Royal Society of Chemistry and aimed at students in their last year of study before higher education. The competition is designed to challenge, and students are encouraged to develop their thinking and problem solving skills whilst testing their knowledge of chemistry in real-world situations.
Dr Tim Nobbs, Head of Chemistry at Royal High School Bath said: "We are delighted for Evelyn and Emily, who tackled a paper designed for students a year older, so their success is a great accomplishment."
