Students celebrate netball successes

On Thursday 30 June Jess in Year 11 attended the first round of GDST Select Netball trials at Northampton High School. In a tough 3hr session, with approximately 50 other GDST netballers, Jess was put through her paces.
She trialled brilliantly, showcasing her skills and prowess on the court. Jess has been selected to go through to the next round, along with DofE absentee Olivia Phillips, which will take place in September.
We also have two Year 9 students, Isla and Imogen, who have been selected alongside our Year 11s. This is an incredible achievement given their age and both have excelled themselves in netball this year.
Off the back of this achievement all four girls have been successful in being selected for the TeamBath Athlete Development Centres in Bristol and Bath, all are talents to watch and we look forward to seeing them develop as netballers.
