Year 3 Pantomime – Jack and the Beanstalk
On Thursday 27th and Friday 28th February, the Year 3 girls performed their pantomime, Jack and the Beanstalk, in front of an audience of family, friends and the whole school.
The girls worked hard during their Music, Dance, and Drama lessons to prepare for the show. They impressed everyone with their clear projection, expressive acting, and confident delivery of songs, dances, and dialogue.
We owe a big thanks to Mr Woods for creating a fantastic set, including a magical growing beanstalk, and to ‘Costume Carole’ for the amazing costumes. Their dedication and talent made the pantomime even more special.
Edie in Year 5 shared her review: " Every performer understood her character’s emotions and displayed these throughout the scenes beautifully. The hilarious script made the whole audience collapse with laughter. The talented cast were always fully engaged with the storyline and they told the story perfectly.”
Mrs Millard and Mrs Bazley were full of praise for the girls, saying: "Congratulations on a brilliant pantomime! You entertained everyone with your energy, enthusiasm and big smiles. We have loved working with you and we couldn’t be prouder of what you have achieved!"
