Year 4 create their own 'poetree'

Inspired by National Poetry Day's theme of 'The Environment', Year 4 have been out in our beautiful Prep School grounds composing some Autumnal poetry. They each exercised their English skills by writing their own line of poetry and then tied them onto branches to create a 'poetree'.

The girls were encouraged to use adjectives in their sentences, and to draw inspiration from the environment and things around them as they came up with their lines.
