Year 5 try their hand at carpentry
Nursery and Prep School
This month Year 5 tried their hands at carpentry whilst making bird feeders out of recycled materials.
They were really engaged with the task and rose to the challenge of operating new tools such as a soldering iron, drills, saws and electric screwdrivers.
Lots of learning qualities were used, the girls were brave in operating new tools, collaborative whilst helping each other and some were even reflective in adjusting their designs when things didn’t go quite to plan!
Mrs David and Mrs Robson were very impressed with all the girls’ attitude and hard work. A HUGE thank you goes to Mr Woods for all his help and support too.
