Year 6 Visit The Natural History Museum
Nursery and Prep School
On Monday 27 February, Year 6 took a trip to the world-famous Natural History Museum in London for their theme Adapt, Evolve, Survive!
The children began with a hands-on workshop all about evolution, where they put Darwin’s theories to the test, exploring how living beings survive and adapt in an ever-changing world. They explored the Museum in small groups, and looked a T-Rex in the eye, basked in the shadow of a full sized whale skeleton, saluted the long-lost Dodo, survived the earthquake room and took a journey through the centre of the Earth, and across the history of time!
The girls were superb ambassadors for the school and thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
