Year 4s host a Royal Tudor banquet with a very special guest

Our Year 4 girls have been looking forward to this event all term: a Tudor Banquet, to bring to life our theme, ‘Off With Her Head!’.

After getting into their costumes, complete with homemade Tudor headdresses, the girls lined up in Cranwell House to welcome our special guest, King Henry VIII (aka our school caretaker). The girls had worked in pairs or threes to compose their own fanfares for the king, which they performed when he arrived. Then the Tudor procession moved up onto the landing for a marvelous feast prepared by our school chef. It was a very memorable occasion for all.
