At Royal High School, we celebrate the success of all our girls – enabling her to develop the confidence and character to explore her unique talents. Our expert teachers are specialised in a wealth of subjects to encourage our pupils to feed their curiosity and challenge themselves in new ways.
Our girls' outstanding results speak for themselves. In 2017 and 2019, we achieved the highest GCSEs across Bath and 50% of all our GCSE results were in the very top 8/9 grades last year. We're extremely proud of our girls' success inside and out of the classroom.

We support each and every girl throughout her life at school – taking great care to develop her confidence and individuality along the way. A diverse activities programme and excellent facilities mean our girls can make memories for life and equip themselves for a bright future.
Our school is set in secure, stunning grounds within walking distance of the centre of Bath. The city boasts an array of history and tradition with a vibrant, contemporary cultural life. Our boarders love this lively environment, enjoying many of the attractions the city has to offer at weekends.
Striking a chord
In February 2020, we opened our brand new £2 million Steinway Music School. Our girls now have access to world-class instruments, masterclasses with top musicians and performance opportunities throughout the year.
As one of only 250 schools worldwide to have this prestigious title, our girls benefit from spaces to practise and record music to a professional standard.
